1. Prepare the natural nail by removing its shine and, of course, the cuticle area - do not forget to remove any traces of dust and degrease the nail plate. You can use GN Pure Acetone or GN Nail Prep.
2. Apply one of the following as preferred: 007 Bond Primer / Primer Ultra Bond / Acid Based Primer / Primer Pen - only on the natural nail, to increase adhesion.

For nails with adhesion problems or during the summer, we recommend Acid Based Primer or Acid Primer Pen.

1. After 30-40 seconds, apply the 1st layer of base over the entire nail and cure completely.

💡 Due to the high content of pigments and effect particles in this base, we recommend that the 1st layer be made of a transparent base, such as Bonder Base Gel | Rubber Base 1 Clear | GetLac Base - Liquid Base | GetLac Base & Finish or NA Fiber Base.

1. Apply the 2nd layer of Rubber Base and cure completely.
2. Apply Top Coat and cure completely.
3. If necessary, degrease the dispersion layer with Cleanser.

💡 For an intense and long-lasting shine, it is recommended to degrease with Cleanser approximately 2-3 minutes after finishing the curing process.

1. Properly prepare and degrease the natural nail and apply the adhesion system suitable for the client and the working technique.
2. For optimal adhesion, we recommend initially applying a thin layer of Clear base, followed by Rubber Base with a high content of pigments or effect particles for leveling and color.
3. Avoid applying excessively thick layers.

In the case of pigmented products, excessive thickness can lead to insufficient curing of the material.

1. Shake the bottle gently before application.

Pigments can settle – gentle movements ensure homogenization without bubbles.

1. Initially apply a very thin "slip" layer.

You ensure the ideal base for the second layer – which brings the desired intensity.

1. Keep in a cool environment away from direct lamp light.

You prevent the product from thickening or polymerizing prematurely and maintain the ideal consistency.

1. Use the original brush for base application + a thin brush for the cuticle area.

You obtain a perfect contour and "color under the cuticle" look.

1. Wipe the brush well before returning to the cuticle area.

You avoid excess product and leaking into the sides.

1. Combine Rubber Base with techniques such as ombré, marble, or babyboomer.

Use the Ombre Design Comb Brush or Ombre Design Sponge Set for blending.

1. For personalized looks, combine with a contrasting or complementary colored base.

You can create creative manicures with unique effects.

1. What happens if the Rubber Base is not cured correctly?

The material may remain insufficiently cured deep down, even if the surface appears hardened. This can affect the durability of the manicure and may favor detachment, wrinkling of the material, or the appearance of adverse reactions due to exposure to insufficiently cured product.

💡 Solution: Respect the recommended layer thickness, curing time, and periodically check the lamp's performance.

1. Why does Rubber Base wrinkle in the lamp?

Most frequently, wrinkling occurs when the pigmented product is applied in a layer that is too thick or does not receive enough energy for complete curing. Apply controlled and uniform layers and respect the recommended curing time.

If the problem persists, check the performance and compatibility of your lamp.

1. Why can Rubber Base crack or lift?

Causes can be diverse and include improper preparation of the natural nail, contamination of the plate with dust, grease, or other residues, inappropriate choice of adhesion system, incorrect product application, insufficient curing, or choosing a formula that is not suitable for the demands of that specific nail.

1. How is Rubber Base stored correctly?

Keep the product tightly closed, in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and UV/LED light. During work, avoid exposing the bottle and brush to lamp light and periodically clean the neck of the container before closing.

1. Are the POWER COUPLE Rubber Bases HEMA Free?

Yes. The POWER COUPLE Rubber bases have a HEMA Free formula, just like the Builder Gels in the corresponding shades, so you can choose between the two formulas while keeping the same shade.
